Sign Up To Donate Blood or Volunteer

PLEASE NOTE: We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time to allow for parking and event check-in.

LAST WALK IN: You can show up with no appointment and donate 7:30 am – 3:15 pm.

Also, we know many of you have very busy days and are squeezing your blood donation in between sports and activities. That is why we have increased the number of blood donation beds we will have by over 50% and will have separate check-ins for those with appointments and those who are doing walk-in donations. In both cases, we will get you in-and-out swiftly!

NEW: A Pint For Kim Promo Bag For Donors

NEW THIS YEAR: Every blood donor will get an A Pint For Kim swag bag full of generous promotions from over a dozen local businesses, including $500 off of braces from Innovative Orthodontic Centers Naperville, $25 off your next order at Little Pops Pizzeria, BOGO at Hawaii Fluid Art, buy one day get a second day free at Card My Yard Naperville, free fries coupon for the first 500 donors courtesy of Chick-Fil-A, and so much more! Come donate blood to see what other goodies are in store! Just another way for us to say THANK YOU and to help motivate you to come out and donate blood!

Location and Parking

CLICK HERE for a map of Naperville North High School’s location!

PARKING: You can park in the north “main” parking lot (entrance off Mill) or the south parking lot (entrance off Mill). You will want to avoid the west parking lot (by the football field) as there is a tournament in the field house that day. Volunteers should park in the main (north) lot as volunteer check-in will be located right inside the main entrance!

ENTERING: You can enter through the main front doors (north) or the doors by the performing arts center (south) and our volunteers will let you know where to go!

Join the Team Challenge

The team challenge is back this year and easier than ever! This time, you do NOT need to list your team name in the notes when you sign up for an appointment. Here is all you need to do in order to be a part of the team challenge:

1- TEAM NAME! You can email apintforkim@gmail.com with a team name OR just tell an APFK volunteer your name the day of the event so they can add it to the board.

2- RECRUIT! Get your friends to join your team! Have them save the date!

3- DONATE! On May 10, everyone on your team simply signs in under the team name after they check-in to donate blood!

4- WIN! Keep an eye on that board May 10. If you are close to the lead, you may want to phone-a-friend (or more) to push you into victory!

Little Pops provides the team who donates the most blood with a pizza party!!

The Hamilton Collection Car Show

The Hamilton Collection will be bringing some of their coolest supercars and hypercars, which includes some of the fastest and rarest cars in the world. The car show tent will be open from 9am-4pm.

Each blood donor will get a pass for themselves and any children with them to sit in the cars and rev the engines. Donating blood is the only way to sit in the cars! Once inside the tent, give your pass to The Hamilton Collection team and they will help you with this special experience!

The Hamilton Collection motto is “Driven To Give Back”, and they are committed to never profiting off of this privately-owned collection. They provide unparalleled access to rare vehicles and help raise money for various charities in the process. Each month they donate the proceeds from their YouTube channel to a different charity.

Food Truck Line-Up

Check out these amazing vendors who will be serving food throughout the day. Most food trucks require you to put down a deposit for a minimum guarantee, but all of our vendors 100% waive that fee for us! So… please support these amazing restaurants who add so much fun to the day. Even if you only have 15 minutes between sporting events that day and can’t donate blood, feel free to drop in and grab lunch or ice cream!

$40,000+ "Thank You Drawing"

One of the most unique parts of our event is the drawing we have each year with items donated by businesses, families, and other charities. This year, we are once again blown away by this community. We have a record setting 110+ items totaling over $42,000!!!

Each blood donor gets 10 tickets to the drawing. Double red donors get an extra ten tickets! Volunteers get 10 tickets per shift! This is just an added fun incentive to encourage blood donors to come out and save lives and to thank our volunteers who make everything possible!

As an organization that does not raise money, we also do not sell any extra tickets, so your odds of winning are really high!

Huskies Only Raffle

This year, one of our goals is to help high school students get over any fears or hesitations they might have about donating blood – because it really is SO easy!

This year, all NNHS student blood donors will get two SPECIAL tickets – outside of the normal raffle – for 8 prizes with a total value of almost $3,000 including a laptop, Apple Max Wireless headphones, a dorm fridge, and more! These items can ONLY be won by a NNHS student blood donor!! You can find the items on our raffle page!

Inflatable Carnival Games & Fun Zone

We have added some additional games to our fun zone full of inflatable games and yard games, like inflatable Twister and an inflatable slide!

As always, all activities are totally free and never require tickets! You can also stop by the Wheel Dawgs tent for face painting and fun temporary tattoos!

Be sure to check back closer to the date to see who will be sitting on our dunk tank this year!

Naperville "Celebrity" Dunk Tank

Who will get dunked this year? Last year Principal Posey was a good sport but everyone was too nice to dunk her. Nobody hesitated to dunk former QB Aiden Gray, QB Jacob Bell, football player Daniel Jurjovec, or football Coach Drendel! Can you convince someone to climb aboard and take the plunge?

Caricature Drawings

To add to the fun this year, A Pint For Kim has hired Adam of Caricatures 911 who will be on sight providing fun fast custom drawings at no cost!

The artist will be drawing from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. under the food and band tent.

Edward Hospital Therapy Dogs

Kim & Angel Dillon 2019

The Edward Hospital therapy dogs were such a bright spot during Kim’s days in the hospital. No matter how icky she felt, she would get down out of bed to snuggle the pups!

We love having these pups and their volunteer parents at the event. It is a fan favorite for sure (or at least it is for Kim’s sister, Kristyn, as all the photos of the dogs seem to include her!)

You can find these lovable puppers roaming the halls and the party throughout the day! Be sure to stop and tell them what a good doggy they are being!!

Kids Craft Area

Have youngsters? We have you covered!

Inside the school in the same room where donors will be donating blood, tables will be set up with kids’ crafts, coloring books, and a Mother’s Day card-making station.

Teen volunteers will supervise kids so parents are able to donate blood while still being able to see where their children are and what they are doing!
